Satish Madathil was born in Chennai on 27 July 1986 and schooled in Chennai and Irinjalakuda. He holds a B.Com and an MBA from Mahatma Gandhi University.
He began his career with the Royal Bank of Scotland in 2008 and joined the State Bank of India in 2009. Between 2009 and 2014 he secured appointments to thirty-six government posts — SSC, Railways, Insurance and the Kerala PSC among them.
He writes columns for Mathrubhumi Arogyamasika, Thozhil Vartha and the Mathrubhumi Year Book, and has written several books for competitive-examination candidates. He trains students in speed mathematics, communicative English and Malayalam, and career counselling, and teaches spoken Malayalam to non-Malayalis through a course of his own design.
He is founder and CEO of Veda Topper International, Irinjalakuda. His debut poetry collection, Pranayasoothram — one hundred and fifty poems — was released on 5 July 2026 at the Municipal Town Hall, Irinjalakuda, the first copy received by the writer Balakrishnan Anjathu.
